Online 1 on 1 Training – 60 minutes
The process begins with having an initial consult online with one of our Biomechanical Specialists. Here your history and needs will be discussed. As working with us is a medium-long term process due to the nature of the fact that it takes time to make drastic changes on the body, it is crucial to find out whether the client and ourselves are a good fit.
Before the online training begins, gait footage is still very important and necessary.
Whether this needs to be taken at our facility or by yourself, it is highly recommended.
Some guidelines on taking your own gait footage and posture photos:
- Tripod and phone camera
- Place to walk/jog/run for 8-12meters approx. in a place that has good lighting or even indoors at a gym on a treadmill
- Minimal clothing as we need to be able to see the knees, hip and spine moving without socks and shoes
- When taking photos, they need to be straight on. The angles need to be precise and the your entire body from head to toe need to fit in the photo. Make sure there are no tilts when setting up the camera on the tripod.
- Be as relaxed as you can and stand as you always would without trying to hold any sort of posture.
- Photos and videos need to be taken from the front, rear and both side views.
- Videos should be taken in slow motion format for 12 seconds.
- Once all this is done they can be emailed to [email protected] and then we will make contact upon assessment and discuss the details at our first online training session
